Your Guide to Creative Planning, Teaching and Learning

by Stephanie Grasso

You’ll find a compilation of strategies from fellow practitioners, books, mentors and professional development workshops from me to you. I lay them out in such a way for you to plan quickly and cleary - with of course creativity, higher order thinking and student inquiry. This version of planning and these activities are meant to be shared amongst us all with the success of our students in mind. Let’s get clarity as we weave together theme-based units to build on our student’s strengths while developing their literacy, language and content skills.

“Stephanie helped me reorient my planning process and taught me several strategies for helping ELLs navigate complex content.  She helped me learn to think like a student and use that thinking to support students’ needs.”
